Easier Said Than Done

I have been thinking about the proverb, “easier said than done,” a lot lately. There’s so many quotes and sayings out there that demand someone to think positively and put all their worries away - but it’s not that easy! The goal of this blog is to brighten people’s day and help people overcome large or small struggles. I don’t want anyone to feel discouraged when looking at my blog - or anyone else’s blog - because you can’t rid yourself of your worry within the 30 seconds it takes you to read a post. Trust me, from my experience, I know that it can take days (or longer!) to become detached from anxiety about something. It helps to remember that there will be a time that you will feel better - just give it time. Remember freaking out about telling your parents about a math test you failed? Are you still freaking out about it? No. You may not even remember it. Put your problems onto a scale and really, small problems aren’t that big of a deal. That said, it’s still hard to fully beleive that and live by that thought. It takes practice and a lot of experience to be able to dismiss problems in life, big or small. And I can’t say I don’t need any more practice!

Smile!
