Do something DIFFERENT!
I’m sure everyone has some type of activity in their life that dominates. For example, school work for college, a career, a family. For me, it’s the work that goes along with my last year in high school. It’s always the best feeling in the world to be able to sit down and put my focus on acheiving something totally different than what i focus on all day. I’m focusing all...

I’ve noticed that when I’m in a negative mindframe, I tend to judge people more - which I don’t like doing. Everyone seems to be doing and saying the wrong thing. When I keep a positive and open mind, everyone seems much more approachable to me.

Before my grandmother died, I remember that my grandfather ALWAYS opened doors for her and pushed in her chair and I remember seeing them hold hands. I hope when I grow up and get married that my future husband and myself can...

Primping Thoughts...
As I was blow-drying my hair this evening, I had a thought about the education system in the United States. If we’re having a problem with poverty and people not being able to afford education, wouldn’t making education more affordable decrease that problem? I don’t even understand why people should have to pay at all to learn. If someone has the desire to learn, that is so great...

Easier Said Than Done
I have been thinking about the proverb, “easier said than done,” a lot lately. There’s so many quotes and sayings out there that demand someone to think positively and put all their worries away - but it’s not that easy! The goal of this blog is to brighten people’s day and help people overcome large or small struggles. I don’t want anyone to feel discouraged...
